RETURN
  • If any product ordered by you arrives damaged or is not of acceptable quality you will need to contact the store immediately or you can return it to us. Upon assessment, Outdoor Furniture Taren Point will offer a full refund, repair or replacement on most items whether purchased online and in store. You must provide us with your receipt or Online Tax invoice. Any refund will be provided via the same method of payment as the original purchase.
  • Delivery fee is non – refundable.
  • Please choose carefully as Outdoor Furniture Taren Point will generally not provide you with a refund or exchange simply because you changed your mind or the product was not what you expected.
  • Outdoor Furniture Taren Point will not accept the return of items under the change of mind returns policy under any circumstance:
  1. Special customer orders
  2. Custom made furniture covers
  3. Clearance items
  • Cancellation of a lay-by will incur a fee for storage and administrative costs.

ORDERING

Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the item cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any proposed Orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your Order.

When entering into a sale contract via the website, you will be taken to have communicated your offer to purchase the product(s) only when:

  1. any requirements set out in these terms have been met;
  2. the electronic instruction containing the offer from you enters and is recorded in our database;
  3. a record is created and stored in our database; and
  4. Outdoor Furniture Taren Point receives in its account full payment from you for the product (including any applicable delivery and handling charges) and confirmation of that payment is received by our database.
  • You acknowledge that:
    1. the transmission of your offer or the confirmation of any payment, made through an electronic instruction may not be received by Outdoor Furniture Taren Point for reasons beyond either parties' reasonable control including but not limited to, electronic failure, mechanical, software, computer, or telecommunications, or the omission or failure of third party website providers or systems;
    2. to the extent permitted by law, Outdoor Furniture Taren Point is not liable to you in any way for any loss or damage at all and however caused, arising directly or indirectly in connection with the transmission of an electronic instruction through the website, or any failure to receive an electronic instruction for whatever reason;
    3. Outdoor Furniture Taren Point may act on and process all completed electronic instructions transmitted or issued through the website without further consent from or reference to you; and
    4. Outdoor Furniture Taren Point may treat an electronic instruction as authentic and is under no obligation to investigate the authenticity or authority of persons issuing or transmitting such electronic instructions, or to verify the accuracy and completeness of such electronic instructions.

  • If your Order is not accepted by Outdoor Furniture Taren Point, we will notify you by telephone or email and arrange for a full refund of any payment made by you to be processed.


  • PRODUCT WARRANTY DISCLOSURE

    The warranty listed here is in addition to that offered by the Competition and Consumer Act under Australian law and will only apply to the original purchaser of the goods supplied.

    A minimum of one-year warranty is offered by Outdoor Furniture Taren Point on all our products.

    Outdoor Furniture Taren Point reserves the right to assess any warranty claim with respect to product quality and or failure. Where appropriate, the liability of Outdoor Furniture Taren Point for a warranty claim is limited to the repair or replacement of the goods as determined by Outdoor Furniture Taren Point. No product will be accepted by Outdoor Furniture Taren Point unless prior authorisation in writing had been given. The end customer is liable for costs associated with any repair performed by Outdoor Furniture Taren Point falling outside the listed warranty. Freight to and from Outdoor Furniture Taren Point regardless of whether or not the product is under warranty will fall under the responsibility of the customer.


    If you believe that the goods you purchased do not meet a consumer guarantee or if you wish to discuss your products, kindly reach out to our customer service team. In certain situations, we may need to organize an inspection or consult with the manufacturer of the relevant goods before determining the appropriate remedy to which you are entitled.

    WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

    This warranty does not cover:

    • fair wear and tear, damage caused by weather conditions (hail, storms, and wind), misuse or negligent care resulting in discolouration of fabric, unauthorised repair or any other accidents (fire). Fabric discolouration over time is considered to be fair wear and tear and is therefore not covered under this warranty; protective UPF treatments have been applied to the outdoor fabric to ensure a high level of colour protection (Please read carefully our care instructions on how to prolong the life of your cushions and store them when not in use).
    • discolouration or damage caused by machine wash of outdoor furniture fabrics will void this warranty offered, due to washing enzymes damaging protective treatments that have been applied to the fabric.
    • goods that are damaged during transit.
    • synthetic Wicker that has been damaged due to ill treatment, pets chewing or vandalism.
    • glass breakage.
